Hello again. I have studied rAthena's wiki guide on installation and it is different from your video tutorial. I am now confused.

I am setting up my private server and carefully followed the steps written in rAthena wiki: Installation on Windows. I am in the part of renaming save-tmpl to save, but there is none in my rAthena folder. I have used the SVN checkout and it went smoothly until it is done. No errors or whatsoever.

Hmm, they must be spending money to pay their own coders/scripters etc. I think this is pre-renewal. Check this link out: http://svn.games-service.net/

I had mine from eAthena forums, but their forum is already down. I suggest you work hard with Renewal, because pre-renewal is slowly dying and no one is updating it anymore.

But you should atleast set it up first on your own machine and familiarize yourself with it. That is what I am doing right now, I am also making a private server, with the help of Sharpienero's tutorial.

I am a new member of rAthena. I have been reading around for quite a while and decided to register. I will be making my private server soon using rAthena's emulator. Any tips there to where should I start? What should I read to give me ideas?
