  1. Hey @Chillxdd

    I'm glad to see you liked it and also tried to replicate it, maybe that's why I didn't realeased any tutorial yet, I like when people try their best trying to figure out how someone else did something like I did ?

    And you did a great job! Congrats!

    I downloaded your files to check how you did it, and here's a side-by-side comparison with my own version in str viewer

    Just a few tips:

    Spoiler
    1. If you're making a sprite for an effect and you planing to make it a single color only,  ALWAYS make it as a grayscale texture (only black and white colors), you can add the color u want your sprite to be in the render pass like I did on STR Viewer, you can add Red/Green/Blue and Alpha Colors on de RGBA section on STR Viewer.

    2. You don't have to use that ugly pink color (#FF00FF) to render the sprite as transparent, you can mess with the blend modes to get rid of the black part of the texture, setting its Source/Destination blend on the Blend secction in STR Viewer, here's how my sprite looks like: feeh_meteoro.bmp

    3. When trying to limitate an AoE hitbox (also in some other cases), you can add an outer glow effect to your sprite border to make it smoother like i did, that's not a rule, but in most cases it'll make your sprite look way better.

    Xoxo

  2. Hi folks!

    That's my first post here, so huh, take it easy on me.

    Well, I've been playing around with GRF editing, in fact almost a year now, and I think I finally figured out how to deal with .str files (actually I'm thinking about making a tutorial for that since I couldn't find it anywhere and had to figure it by myself)

    So I've made this, it wasn't meant to be a good-looking effect but rather an easy to avoid one, and I'd really like if you guys could rate it. Thanks ❤️

    Also sorry if that's the wrong area, I don't rly know for sure tbh;
