  1. @Shakto

    Palletes are crashing the client for both 2013-03-20 and 2013-05-15 at the char-screen or ingame.

    By this i can assume the rest of the clients are having the same issue if you use the palettes from data_v4 or my hairstyles/palettes pack.

    I've tested the diff instead and the crashes are being caused by the 'Ignore missing palettes error' option, which is ironic. I've disabled the option and now i dont get errors at all, lol.

  2. yea well things changed in my life so i had to say hello and bye again lol im trying to pull things out again.

    so basically u dont need to change classnum unless ur going to specify a viewid... for weapons??

    weird thing is that i saw headgears with an id on them, so im still confused, and i cant test anything until i get a local server and client working up.

    At least my (semi) server is still alive and running but i wanna update it, and i got more than 200 customs @_@ lol

  3. its not th client, i just compiled a clean version of rathena, seems like theres something wrong with my own version... damn, now i have to sniff through every bit of src code ive created to see whats causing this issue

    Edit:

    okay fixed! thanks everyone, i noticed it was my custom mob_chat causing the problem, i didnt complete merging it to rathena, so it was partly working and it didnt want to listen to players broadcast anymore but only to mobs, lol XD

    Normally you would get a compile error if something is missing, but the merge replaced in clif.c the map_foreachinrange(npc_chat_sub, &sd->bl, AREA_SIZE, BL_NPC, text, textlen, &sd->bl); with my mob_chat's values function, instead of creating a new line instead.

    im glad i solved it

  4. SO... is RO still fun or is it dull now? lol

    If that is a general question (not just for clydelion) I think it depends on who you talk to, lol. To me RO in general is boring, developing a server is entertaining but not as entertaining as the certain servers which make RO entertaining. :P Haven't found one which has impressed me yet though.

    BUT WHO COULD FORGET YOU PINKY?! Welcome back. :>

    XD will see then, and thanks

  5. |00 messages? thats what ive been thinking too lately, but anyway i used the npc that u showed me and it doesnt really do anything either.

    anyway im using the 2012-04-10aRagexeRE_S clnt. try using that one and see what u get

    BTW did you use centos 6.3 64bits? because thats what im using, i was wondering if my pcre lib files were in the wrong path, but i already did some tests with that and it wasnt the case. and centos doesnt seem to have pcre 8.0 at all, it only has the 7.x build.

  6. I'm not sure if i should have posted this in the linux support, or rathena, since i don't even know which side is causing this problem, so i posted it here.

    ========

    @r16827

    Centos 6.3

    ========

    As reported in the bugtracker before http://rathena.org/b...attern-broken/:

    defpattern isn't working, since i'm not able to make an npc 'read' what i type in the chat.

    for example with the doc/sample/npc_pcre.txt script, that one doesnt work either anymore.

    I've been gone for more than 1 - 2 years, so i have no idea if there were any updates related to the functioning of defpattern.

    But in any case... it seems like a bug to me. Either on my side, or rathena.

    I thought it was because of pcre wasn't installed on my system, but i realised that 'that' wasn't the reason, since pcre was already installed on my centos system when i checked, I even manually installed pcre-8.0 to see if there was any difference...

    :S so now im clueless and need some help from whoever has knowledge with centos, pcre and whatsoever.

    The build output looks normal aswell.

    So either my centos system is just being a wacko and need to reinstall it all over, or there's something else going on.

    I will be grateful to the person(s) who are willing to help me or can point me out what's being missed, or anything.

    P.S. the map warnings are my own custom source modifications, so dont worry about it. Also **** stands for my server's name, sensored.

    Thanks,

    Pinky

  7. Welcome Pinky. Is it YOU?

    Good news. We hope you may enlighten us in client hexing again.

    Yes its me i hope there wasnt anyone else faking my name XD besides pinky and the brain show...

    And here i was hoping to be enlighted about clients XD

    Pinky @XRAY ?

    Heh, I still remember you, if its you :D

    Anyway, aloha !

    aloha

    Hi! Glad to see you back! What happened to you in the past years? and Meruru? I hope to see xray alive again. It'll make everything else a whole lot easier. :P

    Anyway, for your question.. The new group system is for easy assignment of permissions and command access. The way I see it, it acts like how forums' grouping system work.

    http://rathena.org/b...issions-system/

    personal life changes at my side, we both moved on, i havent seen anyone from the past anymore, although i wonder where he is, i should use my old msn acc.

    SO... is RO still fun or is it dull now? lol

    nah, i meant how you add stuffs like jobs, icons, etc. :)

    well yea i must admit that some things were easier at our side than with these bunch of luas piles

  8. Blablabla yadada

    there should be at least 'some' ppl who know or remind me from eA and XRay.

    I stopped developing/getting involed with anything that had to do with RO long ago and dissapeared without a word,

    now im back to check on things to see the 'new' stuff, since the renewal looks quite interesing.

    now... im curious about something, rathena, is there a reason to why the GM source had to be changed? to group_id or something.
