No special server output, just the message that my account successfully logged in.

But I've tried this packet_ver <version> xx </version> already without success.

 

2013-08-07.exe

mmo.h:

 

packet_db_ver: 45

 

clientinfo.xml:

 

clientinfo.xml <version>45</version>

No success, no changes at all.

 

2012-04-10.exe

mmo.h:

packet_db_ver: 30

 

clientinfo.xml:

clientinfo.xml <version>30</version>

No success, no changes at all.

 

I've created so many eathena server and client setups in the past (2005 to 2011), but this thing is a new level of horror.

You can use the Download from Full_kRO_Renewal_20150301.exe by nikkizai, just make sure you replace the broken file.

(it uses the 2013-08-07 patched client, but I've also tried 2012-04-10aRagexeRE_S.exe)

 

I can register an account on my local server, but after I try to log in, the client crashs before I reach the char-selection window.

Its really annoying...

 

I've got:

- Latest kRO (up to date patched)

- Latest english renewal data folder v4 mixed with translation project (v3 for 2012-04-10)

- 2013-08-07.exe from https://rathena.org/board/topic/89245-2013-08-07aragexe-full-client-by-themon/

- 2012-04-10aRagexeRE_S.exe.patched from http://supportmii.com/ro1/Clients/ClientSideArea/2012_04_10/2012-04-10aRagexeRE_S.exe.patched.exe

- tried packet_ver: 30 for 2012-04-10 and packet_ver: 46 for 2013-08-07

 

Anyone with an idea?

Get the KRO from ratemyserver instead. NickyZai has a bugged KRO download. The skin folder is the issue, might be able to just replace the default folder there.

Note: I just want to play on 127.0.0.1 alone.

I've finally finished the rAthena Server Setup for rev. 17516, the server runs without problems (Windows).

 

But now comes the part with the Client Setup, I don't get this thing to work properly.

 

1. Downloaded Full_kRO_Renewal_20150301.exe from https://www.nickyzai.com/?p=kro

What do I have to do now, to play on my local server?
