Spent last 20+ days wiz chocobotRO, and here is my thoughts. ChocobotRO is a good server overall.

1. No p2w, everything can be build by effort not cash.

2. Fair game, you can redeem cash shop currency by log-in rewards. (Cash shop doesn't do much anyway)

3. Manual quests, this might be controversy. Job change to access certain maps, does require to manual the access quest atleast once per acct to unlock Warpra. Imo, it's rewarding players who pay the most effort. Fair enough.

4. Easy to swap build. Rests cost nothing. One character can switch build in minutes.

5. No OP-gears, ChocobotRO is encouraging players to play as a team. (How ragnarok suppose to be) Cards/Gears/Weapons, anything u you loot, is all you get to use.

Although,

Here is what I think ChocobotRO could do better.

More events will be nice, system is built for easy leveling. Hw, there isn't enough fun. Specially on weekends, you do everything just like you do weekdays. Some fun events, give away some cutie costume headgears or weapon boxes, wont break the balance.

Some exp/drop bonus exclusively for the weekends will be nice too.

Mr. GM is an extremely nice and polite person. Hw, I saw a decline in effort. I play day in and out. I saw lots of new players joining ery few days, but none of them last more than a week.

GM pls dont give-in, you can still make ChocobotRo a better server.

I think ChocobotRO is a server worth trying! Anyone playing from the Asia-Pacific region will generally find good latency as server is based in Sydney, Australia.
