  1. I'm still getting rejected from the server because of the unknown packet (p:0x464d,l:19) even after I've diff'd my 20120410 client with 'Skip Packet Obfuscation.' Server-side: mmo.h Recompiled packet_db Client-side: diff clientinfo Result: Rejected from Server. Console
  2. Have you tried this? http://bit.ly/LmZQdr
  3. Do you have the correct files in the corresponding GRF?
  4. As the topic title says, I'm wondering what the standard size is for sprites that... ...appear in the inventory window ...appear in the inventory window when clicked (their drop sprite) Just to be clear, I'm not asking what the sprite size is when a character wears them.
  5. 0x61 = // 0x01 - No damage skill // 0x20 - Skill ignores target's defense (misc type always ignores) // 0x40 - Skill ignores target's flee (magic type always ignores) Your Sacrifice misses because it won't do damage.
  6. Thanks for the help! I extracted the sprite folder from kRO's data.grf and found that they're really missing! Thanks Ainna!
  7. Bumping for Additional Info: I've got a clean version of 2012-06-05 kRO and updated it to 2012-06-20. (To check whether or not I was missing the sprite files). After successfully updating, it still returned the error.

  9. You don't need a new client. If you're using the normal Setup.exe, don't diff your client with 'HLKM_to_HKCU.' Otherwise, you need a patched Setup.exe. At least, that's what I think causes the infinite Setup.exe loop.

  11. Certain items, like the Gentleman's Pipe, causes the client to crash. This happens when you attempt to left click the item in your inventory. The item sprite appears in the inventory, and you can right click the item to display its information without any problem. The client only crashes when you left click it. The same error can be observed for other items too, such as Black Frame Glasses (whose sprite doesn't appear in the inventory). I have two 2011-12-28 clients, one diffed with 'Load LUA before LUB' and one without. Both clients cannot read the data folder first. Yes, I've compiled the data folder to a .grf file, whose priority is set to 0 in DATA.ini. My kRO is updated to 2012-06-13. The .lua files in the client\data\LuaFiles514\lua files is the latest (r226) from the Client Side SVN. The .lub files in the same folder are the ones from 2011-12-28. I've seen this topic, but the proposed solutions do not work. TLDR: Basically, what I want to know is what kind of LUA+LUB combination of files should I use in order to get the latest headgear sprite files, but without causing crashes. I'd also like to know which of the two clients (one diffed with 'Load LUA before LUB,' or one without) is better to use.
  12. Not sure if 2745 ...or 2700. I'll stick with 2700.
  13. How do you edit the chat headers? (i.e. Main Chat, Battle Chat) It's in Ascii at the moment.
  14. I receive an unknown packet version when I try to log in. I have updated packet_db and the required files, but still no luck. Client is 2011-12-28.
