  1. This post is semi-necro, but I'd like to see any tutorials or tips you might have to offer, and I'd be willing to donate to help your enthusiasm in putting such things together for the community. Please come back!
  2. I'm having trouble doing some moderate spriting, I can't seem to find a file with the 'skin tone' colors used for player heads, hands, legs and other body parts anywhere. There's a range of like 20 colors that have been used by Gravity, does anyone know where I could pick up a palette of colors used for character skin color? I''m currently using the colors from the attached image (warning; non-nude nude guy) Thanks. http://www.blackhand.com/rmxp/8_way_large.png Bonus Points- Does anyone know exactly what program Gravity uses to create their character sprites and what-not? I'm currently using the advanced paint program from getpaint.net The one I've seen them using has a really nice palette selector for doing sprites, and also acts as a sprite animator of sorts. Thanks.
  3. YO, this is boss, in my book, 10/10. Users post a lot of really over-done maps here, and these users are really skilled, These maps take a while and are big and flashflash, but to me at least, they don't really have 'soul' man. I can tell you were in a really good place mentally/emotionally when you made this map, or at least you were aiming for one. You really enjoy map making man. What it may lack in technical prowess, it makes up for in creativity and imagination. Like Ragnarok itself. a few suggestions, maybe some dirt aorund the main path to the house, maybe some dirt inside the Peco pin.
  4. I don't know what exact programs they use to create sprites, but Using a program like GIMP (free) or Photoshop(costs, free from the right source) you can start creating sprites pretty easily. I made a pretty crummy Shaman class with a wolf pelt and some other knick knacks a long time ago using just GIMP. If I happen to find out which programs they use exactly (or their derivatives) I'll post here to let you know. Also, if you want to possibly join me and some other guys creating custom classes, we could use your willingness and talent. Pm me and let me know.
  5. I realize this topic is really old, but I'd like to work with you on some map zones if you have the time. I'm earning my stripes with BrowEdit way late, I know, but it's easy to pick up, like learning to ride a bike. PM me man!
  6. The solution is to change the 0 in the script to '100', to restore %100 of the players HP. He posted the link but didn't explain the solution himself.
