Harmony doesnt work in latest rAthena ?

I just updated my rAthena to the latest version and my Harmony supplier told me Harmony won't work (or at least won't work without rewriting a bunch of code) on the latest version because you changed the structure.

 

Is there any serious reason for screwing up 3rd party tools?

1. stability & maintainability
2. better performance
3. less bug
4. latest update
5. etc

I feel that it's inappropriate to blame rAthena for this.

You cant blame rAthena for breaking these just because your 3rd party tool failed to work in your server.

It's 3rd party tools issue after all.

There are no emulator out there that doing update based on other 3rd party tool compability.

 

it's 3rd party tools who have to keep on update to keep it working on every latest revision.

 

 

Simple Scenario If I am confusing you.

If you playing any hacking tools in any servers, you wont ask the server to  update based on your hacking tools , so that your hacking tools still working after every update.

Well, a lot of servers are using Harmony.

It's not a hacking tool, it's for protection though.

 

And well did the whole structure change increase your points by a noticable amount?

I think rAthena was built in a time where you should get a solid structure when you put enough brainstorm into it beforehand.

 

Anyway, I'll just wait for a Harmony update and then patch my rAthena. x_x

then, the correct place to blame is ur 3rd party provider, people spent money for theirs rAthena has no reason to deal with.

there's no reason "solid" means "stuck"

This is not rAthena problem, it's your own problem.

Try to solve it  by yourself, without crying on the forum.

first of all this program is not a open source program. ask the developer. no need to discuss it here since there is a harmony forum. you should post it there to ask for support for the developer who made that program instead of crying here.
