-event that will trigger when you attack a player

 

onPChit

-event that will trigger when a player attacked you

 

onNPCattack

-event that will trigger when you attack a monster

 

onNPChit

Good idea, but I'm afraid that it will be triggered too often, especially on server with high ASPD and if there are lots of multi hits players.

I can't imagine what it'll look like during WOE  /panic

if the event will trigger to often , does it have a bad effects?

im suggesting this new event for this reasons

 

-applying special effects on the target when you attacked

(detonator explosion effects when attacking with bow and arrows whahaha damn good)

-adding voices when player attacks :> damn good

-casting clones when attacking :>

-etc

 

if you can imagine theres so many things that we can do with this events

If I remember correctly, we already rejected this idea in the past for the reason @nanakiwurtz stated. Imagine the amount of hits on a decently-populated high-rate server: it'd be thousands of executions per second! It's simply too unrealistic a burden on the servers to be in our repository, in my opinion.

You can accomplish most of what you want to do with the 'autobonus' commands.

I agree, that it is unpractical. As Euphy stated, it's too much of a burden on the servers, even if we were to add limiters and filters it would still be too much because even with the use of limiters that would let's say, only allow for the event to be activated 1 time per second, it would still ping the server everytime you attack to see if it is able to trigger the event. That in combination with filters like mapflags would still only slightly reduce the usage, but not so much that it still wouldn't be a resource hog.
