Hello everyone, when I use neoncube to patch my encrypted patch it doesn't read the file and the sprites dont show up in-game... Does anyone know how to fix this? :'(

Before doing / suggesting anything, I'd like to say sorry towards your GRF.

you may, first, want to try to open your GRF with GRFBuilder.

If it opens, then extract all of them and make sure the files are not corrupted. Don't delete them, for backup

If it said to be broken, then, that's where my sorry goes to.

I encrypted my GRF once, and it broke down. I lost all of my modification, I can't edit it and I didn't have the backup (I don't know why).

Good luck! (PM is available)

i dont think that neoncube is able to patch an encrypted grf file.

as the patcher doesnt know how to work with the encrypted packets as he doesnt know the key for the encryption.

One way is to make a new grf and patch it in as a single file, and update their data.ini as well. It is best to encrypt all your important files initially and all future patches would be changes in descriptions, small etc. If worst comes to worst, make a new installer for your players
