Browedit Question: Lights from RO Maps

Question

Is it possible to restore lighting from the original RO maps?

When i open up certain maps, they do have bulbs.

Calculating lightmaps as is gives me a black screen, so i took a look at the individual lights.

In the screenshot below, i've opened [email protected] It seems the bulbs have all lost their height-position, range, max.light increment, and falloff values. I'm not sure about the shadow y/n...

In other maps (eg. prt_in), sometimes the bulbs are all bunched in the same position and have a huuuuge lightfalloff.

I wonder if it's possible to restore these values at all...

I'm asking this because i want to try adding lights to certain parts of a map, while leaving other bits the same.

edit:

As a side note, I did watch Syouji's videos. Can you import multiplicative lightmaps?

(I was thinking perhaps i could export the original colours, then calculate lights in a certain area, export that and then merge these two images in photoshop or something... D;)

Any replies still appreciated.  /ok

Ok thanks anyway for the replies.

I'll just fiddle around with settings until i can get something similar to the original. I chanced upon the TAB key which is incredibly useful for comparing.

/no1 marking as solved.
