guys please help naman sa server ko, ok nmn xa sa Offline, pero nung gagawin ko na xang online, error po eh, nakakapiga ng isip, dami ko na natry na tutorial di ko padin makuha tlga pano gawing Online /sob
gusto ko sana sarili kong pc at net ung gawin kong server at samin2x lng ng mga kakilala ko. or if may mura akong makitang server mas dabest cguro.

kung gusto mo no hassle mag hamachi k nlng total sabi mo pang tropa mo lang yang ragnarok mo d best is ung hamachi 20 players limit ata ang kaya nian..

answer my questions. if mag respond ka, include it with a detail and a number para di confusing.

 

1.) may router ka ba? if yes, na port forward mo na ba? if wala pa din, hanap ka ng guide jan ang dami. 

2.) naka turn off ba windows firewall mo? (off mo na din anti-virus kahit di na need, just to make sure). if no, OFF mo na lahat!

3.) may client ka na bang auto-updater sa pag change ng ip mo? if no, download ka!

4.) naka public allow all na ba ang apache mo? if di mo alam to, hanap ka lang guide. para naman maka register mga kakusa mo. parang true using fluxcp

5.) naka allow dns ba client mo? if no, e hex mo na yan or use weediff.

6.) smartbro ka ba? or globe wimax? if yes, problem talaga yan kasi di yan allow ng smartbobo at globobo. no success pag yan ang isp mo sa server mo.

 

if pldt isp mo, at di pa rin na solve, 1K lang ako ang mag fix jan remotely if successful

sir matagal ko na po ginagawa yan. maraming tutorials na ang tiningnan ko.

pano po malalaman kung naka forward na ung ports? tinest ko po kung naka forward na ung ports ko sa simple-port-forwarding.

kaso failed sya.

naka set nmn sa firewall ko ung both inbound and outbound rules. both tcp and udp andun.  Char = tcp and char=udp. alam ko na rin po ung tunkol dyan sa capital letters. marami na po tlga ako na research tinest ko na lahat

pero po pag tinitest ko na sya sa sa mga PFchcker tools Failed sya. close parin ports ko.

192.168.0.50 ba nag DHCP Server Start IP mo? Kasi dapat kung anong starting ip range mo yun ang e lagay mong ip sa ip address

 

try:

192.168.0.101

 

enter the last set by 100ths

DHCP static assign kung sino mag connect sa router mo automatically. kung ikaw lang mag isa 192.168.0.51, kung dalawa na mag konek 192.168.0.52, kung tatlo na 192.168.0.53 and more. range from 192.168.0.51 to 192.168.0.199 for example.

 

since sa PC 192.168.0.51 ang server mo sa rAthena, tama jan lang e port forward mo. since di nag work, tingnan mo ang DHCP Server Start IP or Server Start IP ranges. kasi baka na set 192.168.0.101 to 192.168.0.199 or ano. at hindi 192.168.0.51. 

 

Kung confuse ka pa din, sa rAthena server mo, go to connection status > details

 

kung anong nasa circle na IP, yun e lagay mo sa IP sa port e forward

sir gets ko na po ung DHCP. naka set ito kanina sa 192.168.100 - 192.168.0.102. at ginawa ko tong 192.168.0.50 - 192.168.0.51 at nung na save ko to,. nag ka problema sa LAN ng kabilang PC. kaya d nakapag connect sa net ung kabilang pc. pero d ko po sure na cause to ng pag galaw ko ng DHCP. sa tingin nyu po ba sir possible ang ganun na case?

btw- need paba sir ng port tester para malaman mo kung open ports na ung 5121 6121 at 6900. parang kceng d accurate ung mga tools nila.

sir. nasisira ung local area network ng nanay ko pag ginagawa kong 192.168.0.51 - 192.168.0.52 ,, pag binabalik ko sa dati which is 192.168.0.100 - 192.168.0.102 naaus ung Local area network ng nanay ko.

Any VPN can always bypass the router or firewall. That is why its easy to hack a Wi-fi if you are connected just that blocked by the firewall or a captive portal.

I don't know where you guys are looking at. The first post, from your screenshot, obviously shows an SQL Connection Error.

You only change your SQL Connection strings when your database is not on the same machine as your server.

If it is on the same machine, then leave it, localhost or 127.0.0.1 or use LAN IP when it's on your network.

You only need to port forward when you're ready to accept connection from those that are not in your network.

 

The rest of your config seems legit. Give it a try.

I assumed that he succeed on doing the server as localhost. Now, he is trying to use DNS as his address
