Brian
Yea, that message was removed/changed in rAthena r15121. The map-server_sql., login-server.sql ad char-server.sql close automaticaly after i start the server.[/size]Were there any other errors after this warning? If you're running the servers through SSH, the output should still show in the SSH window. If you're running the servers in a GUI and the windows close, open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T), cd to your *Athena folder, and start each server. Then the window should stay open so you can see all output, even after it crashes. Just update the user privileges in your favorite sql manager (phpmyadmin ?).*create a non-root Linux user to run Athena
KeyWorld
[Warning]: It is unnecessary and unsafe to run eAthena with root privileges. Fixed. More seriously, yeah I agree with the message (if you want more, ask a question ? maybe ?).

KeyWorld
Just update the user privileges in your favorite sql manager (phpmyadmin ?). But honestly, it's the first time I see a crash due to superuser; so I don't really think your crash is related to this message.
Cydh
don't use root superuser.. make new user -> give the permission only to access your RO database only to SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE..
