A hand full of new skill tags was added to the client on Feb 15th, 2013. These skills all appear to be related to the 3rd job's and may be quest skills. Here's a list of the new skills....

I'm actually excited to see it in-game... I really wonder what the animations are going to be like and the effects :>!

Everyone brace yourselfs because their's a important detail in the pRO Midgard Congress 2013 info. So far the official kRO server had 1 level expansion since renewal started. The expansion raised the base level cap from 150 to 160. The max stats was also found to be 125, but I don't remember if stats 121 - 125 is only accessible by being level 151 - 160. Someone correct me on this.

 

Well I just learned that a 2nd expansion will happen and may be just around the corner according to this info....

 

Phase 2.B: Level Expansion

BLvl. 160 ain’t the end yet folks! Gravity is planning to do a 2nd level expansion: BLvl 160 to 175 and JLvl 50-70. There will be new skills for each job to be added as well.

Level 175? Wow I guess max stats will likely be 135 or 140. As for the job level caps being increased by 20 levels I can say that these new skills will likely be added to the skill trees once this expansion happens. I hope they plan on increasing the max job levels for the new expansion jobs and give them a few new skills as well to keep them in balance.

that'll probably be another issue, for balance, I hope gravity will do a good job and keep them in check

I hope this'll decrease Royal Guards strength and improve other classes such as Minstrel & Wanderer.

Looks like hitting 193 aspd won't be much of an issue anymore, kind of sad.

Sura's Gate of Hell Damage Formula

ATK [(Skill Level x 500) x Caster’s Base Level / 100] % + (Caster’s Max HP - Caster’s Current HP) + (Caster’s SP x Damage modifier) + (Caster’s Base Level x 10)

If used as a combo skill,

ATK [(Skill Level x 800) x Caster’s Base Level / 100] % + (Caster’s Max HP - Caster’s Current HP) + (Caster’s Max SP x Damage Modifier) + (Caster’s Base Level x 40)

 

A regular level 10 casted by a level 175 player will do 8750% easly and doing it in a combo will do a wippering 11000%!!!! 11k percent of damage. Thats just the base ratio part alone. Higher max HP and SP with higher levels, as well as additional fixed damage added from higher base levels will bring this skill to a insanely powerful skill. I honestly dont like the fact that they made so many skills damage be affected by the caster's base level.

So much for the previous balance patches then.

I also don't see how this level increase is any good for Wanderer's Sirens Voice, which is also based on base level. If the formula is correct at the moment then the lowest possible duration the target can be affected by is 2seconds (if target is level 150), if target is level 100 or such the duration will increase but considering 175, it'll be less than 2 seconds, which makes the skill useless, which it already is to begin with.

So basically we can expect another 2 or 3 balance patches to come afterwards.

from the moment you're 3rd job, can add your status to 125

 

Gravity starts to run out of ideas?

It seems that the lastest MVP lv 161 and 60M of HP are too small......this happens by improperly tuned the renewal.

I imagine that gravity will have to change the formulas of stats (MATK,ATK, HIT, CRI,MaxHP,MaxSP, Negative status, etc etc...)...

All players (
immune to status, sleep, stone, mute, etc etc), all full CRIT, All players 193 APSD,......

hmm telekinesis sound a lot like mind breaker, the dragon breath water sounds cool, honestly speaking its a disappointment that Mechanics cant upgrade armor

I can almost see the 999/800 expansion... Gravity is really running out of ideas. I guess that there is about 90% of chance of a ton of formulas about to be changed. :P

But those new skills seems to be really nice. I'm anxious to take a look at 'em. :3

Think your the 2nd or 3rd person ive seen that thinks that. I don't see how their running out of idea's when level expansions is a normal thing in modern MMO's. Level caps are raised, more stats can be gained, newer skills can be learned (or higher levels of existing skills is accessible), and higher level monsters and equips are added. This is the first time ive seen something about them maybe increasing the max job cap for some jobs. This kind of stuff was goina happen sooer or later.

 

I wonder what the level 175 aura will look like. 99 is normal feeling, 150 is big blue annoying, 160 is big yellow even more shinny and annoying, 175 will be big greyish white and sooooo easy to spot, and 200 will be big "Omg so bright and shinny white that looking at it will blind you".

Right, I don't get what some people are so fussed about. Obviously it's an issue on the development side since it means a lot of changes are going to come and the current ones haven't even been handled yet, however for the gaming aspect it's just alright. Although they could have instead just made the leveling harder. Raising it from 160 to 175 is also good, it's not as big of a jump as the 99 to 150. Not sure what to think of the job level expansion. Job 50 was a nice idea especially because it ment you couldn't get all skills and you really have to think ahead, one of the big factors where this played was Warlock, not being able to get the maximum potential of Tetra Vortex, Comet & Reading Spell-book or Recognize Spell, if you intended to get all of them. With this change it'll be a lot easier, almost too easy. Or is this gravity giving in to the Mage class finally and helping them?

Its possible to use the main client. Diff's might work on it and youll need packets for it. Their's a private server that uses the main client for its cash shop window feature.
