Does it really take 60+ hours to setup RO on VPS?

Recommended Posts

I hired a guy from "Paid Services" section and ITS BEEN 60 HOURS since my last payment to him and I got ZERO UPDATES from him. To people in this forum, does it really take more than 60 hours to set-up RO? He haven't installed the OS of the VPS yet but he got my VPS info.

It takes way less. It shouldn't take 3 days..

I'm sorry if I have to give this guy in 'Paid Services' a negative reputation. He told me to wait for 85 hours for nothing.

If you already have a host, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get everything up. Unless of course, if you have custom modifications within the server mechanics, it would take a few more time.*

^this applies only to a perfect rathena environment, where all the people doesnt have a life and are in front of their respective pc/laptop all day.

Those things only take about a few hours for initial setup and a couple more to tweak it to your likeness. And that's coming from me, someone who barely knew anything about setting up a server/website/cp. But I managed to do it successfully using rathena forums and google plus some help from my vps hosting company.
