From my experiences, people use such skills (i.e. backslide) cause they can't commit to fight and especially since it could be spammed, people take advantage of that! As for the map, I'd give it a 9/10. Basically, I like how small, yet big, the map is but also you should refine the edges of the trees or use a different model of one. For my personal opinion, to make the map a bit bigger, remove that second building (the one with no decorations). Simple The corner designs I believe are the only issue to the PvP case. If those areas are blocked off, it should be fine. It would be difficult to move around those areas.
