Ok so I've been searching every where to find out about the 3rd job auras. The only thing I have found out so far is "emp shock.tga"

But I need to know what the huge blue aura that's spinning around the character is called. I have a custom aura for all the other classes, but that aura doesn't show up on the 3rd classes. Is there away to make all classes have just 1 aura?

Either way I really want to remove the 3rd job aura. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello.

Looking at the game data, here is a list of the bitmaps and tga resources that the client itself asks at the time I requested the 3rd job aura:

* data/texture/effect/cir0002.bmp

* data/texture/effect/emp shock.tga

* data/texture/effect/w_bubble01.tga ... continue on this, adding +1 (bubble01, bubble02... etc) until you reach to data/texture/effect/w_bubble27.tga

That is what I found by doing a quick look. Use GRF Factory or any GRF reader you might have and look for the files I listed. Extract and look if they are useful to you.

P.D.: I think the first one (cir0002.bmp) is the one you are looking for.

Thank you so much Olrox. cir0002 is part of it yes. that's what's on the floor. w_bubble ones are what's rotating around the character in blue.

I'm still playing around with it. I replaced it with one of my custom auras but it's not so visible...

Maybe you should follow the image dimentions. If I read well, you said it is not -too visible- but it is, visible right?

I believe third classes auras are bigger than normal character level 99 ones. Based on this, replacing auras with others are not that good.

In case you forcefully want to use that aura you have, and resize it, probably you, or someone can use Adobe Illustrator to vectorize your aura and make it bigger with not loosing its quality.

So this is what i got so far..

aura.jpg

But this is not the actual color of the aura. It's supposed to be red. I don't know how to change the color on the .tga file ><

There are some other files I didn't list. I just found them right now:

Previous files:

  • data/texture/effect/cir0002.bmp
  • data/texture/effect/emp shock.tga
  • data/texture/effect/w_bubble01.tga ... continue on this, adding +1 (bubble01, bubble02... etc) until you reach to
  • data/texture/effect/w_bubble27.tga

In addition:

  • data/texture/effect/ring_blue.tga <--- This one handles also warp portals and a lot of other stuff...
  • data/texture/effect/cir0002.tga
  • data/texture/effect/alpha_down <-- Seems this one only handles opacity. At least inside its alpha channel

I did my own tests. There is still a little blue present that I don't know where it comes from (probably by the client or stuff like that), but so far --->
