Could you add in a functionality that allows it to save the output image in different formats such as PNG and GIF? If so, this is exactly the type of program I was looking for and was thinking of making!

@Xantara

It was the original concept of this program, to convert the BMP to GIFs with transparency. The problem is, transparency is not attained, instead, the background becomes black.

I'm still testing it out though. :]

Yea, I created this program a while ago and stopped due to this problem (and lack of time) as well. I hope you can find and way! Looking forward to it =)

I've successfully converted the BMP => PNG with transparency. Some of the output PNGs retain their pink background though! LOL. /heh.

Uploaded it as v 1.1 :D

@beret

what do you mean? The program generated files according to the txt file, regardless of being a duplicate item or not.

@xantara

It can now convert BMP -> GIF, though some retain their pink BG. Not sure why.

Ah, I thought it worked out well but something happened to the images. Specifically bmp->png.

Thanks for pointing that out. Looking into it now. /hmm

Update:

Updated it now, collection images were also being processed for transparency.. and i think white pixels are treated as such. Fixed now for GIF and PNG (GIF collection images achieve a low quality image though)

Fixed in v 1.2. Thank you Xantara :>

I just used your tool, really great! Although my items are in GIF and many retained the pink transparency. I used Irfanview to convert the transparency quickly. I'm not sure how you handle your conversion but Irfanview was picking up 0, 254, and 255 as the palette colors for the pink. Maybe that will be helpful to you? :P

Would be nice to have it resolved! I usually update every 3 months or so and using Irfanview manually is just time consuming and boring. ;-; Great program though!

is this possible to make it work with new iteminfo.lub? http://krotranslatedlua.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/System/itemInfo.lua

So we can use KRo information to convert files.
