Ask: Put a .patch on centOS 5.8

hi Everyone.. im trying to patch this on CentOS 5.8 VPS.. and it fails.. using this command

[[email protected] ~]$ patch -Np1 -d trunk/ < ExtendedVendingSystem_1.8.1.patch
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
can't find file to patch at input line 5
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:

hope some linux expert can help me.. bcuz this script so great and i want to use it on my server

try this:

$ touch trunk/conf/battle/feature.conf

And run the patch file again.

EDIT: What this does is simply creates a blank file with the path and name specified. It looks like for some reason the svn patch script is not able to create the file to patch it, because it doesn't exist.

woow.. yah the himeka one dont have root access and its 3CeaM 650.. the one with extended vending system lilith was got root.. but i dunno how to downgrade it D: bcuz its getting error when i put manually..

I believe you may use the following command to grab a certain revision if you're starting fresh.

svn co -r16070 https://rathena.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rathena/trunk/

oh tyvm sir asura i havent finish everything for my server.. i want to open it on perfect condition.. i dunno how long q.q wasting time renting VPS
