Need some help...

Question

I need some help turning this image into a drop sprite/act

I saved it as 256bmp and tried replacing a sprite's image and the image in the act file but that failed

Try this,

  • Download Sprite Conview
  • Run SPR_Conview_v0.11.exe
  • Click "Convert"
  • Select from the drop down menu "Bmp to Spr"
  • An second window will open click "Add"
  • Locate your .BMP
  • Click "Browse" and save to a folder
  • Bang boom wam click "Convert"

I tried this...It didnt work. Trust me, I tried it 3-5 times

Here try this.

Its the same as that I got...Its not transparent like it should be

Oww you also need to steal a .act file that's close to the sprite and rename them.

Try reopening the .BMP in Adobe and saving it as a different .BMP file, then repack the sprite?

Well...I still dont get how to get it to work :/ I'm using spriteconview+actor2

Just steal your act files for now. They're crazy hard to make perfect.

As for the transparency problem, I'm clueless...

Thats just it...i'm using the same actfile from the original version(The gold star is a recolor)

For the future you really need to make sure that the color you use for transparency is the first in your palette, otherwise it wont work and turn out with the (in your case) pink background.

I was using paint >.> Adel told me Paint automatically saves it in the correct format
