[Resolved] BrowEdit Help about walking

I was made my map but found problem is when i walk around object (I'm using red gat in BrowEdit Porgram) some time character fast walk and normally walk and sometime across a object go to last cursor clicked .

I dunno about this problem, Should i do fix it ?

what to do when the map saves and opens normally but in game texture is not only displayed by water? plz help

I've seen this occur in a few of my maps before as well. What I personally found to fix this issue is to raise the terrain level above a water height level of -20. After raising the terrain, clicking on a GAT responds perfectly with the client and you wont recieve any random delays or glitches.

water height level of -20 mean the ground under or above water ? cuz i tried edit -20 by Windows Tab -> Water and the ground was flood

and i change that to 20 but found problem again /no1

new problem is when i change angles camera npc and character was a little shake ???

and the edge of the screen texture was black color ???

1. Change water height to -20 [Windows->Water]

2. Go to Global Height Editmode

3. Click CTRL + A [selects the Entire Ground Terrain]

4. Click Page-Up to Raise/Page Down to Lower the Ground. Rais the ground ABOVE the water line

5. After you have raised the ground above water line go to Group Object Edit

6. Click View->Top Camera and create a red box radius around the entire map by just Left-Mouse Clicking so it selects all the objects on the map.

7.Click Page-Up to raise all the objects you selected back to their proper positions on the raised terrain.

8. Save your map. Done.

but new problem is some object disappear and edge of screen texture was a black color /no1

Can you post a picture of your map so I can see the water level and where your map is.

Your terrain with textures applied to it can go under the water as long as it doesnt go below the 0 mark meaning when water level height = 0. BrowEdit's water level is inverted when it comes to height. Positive number height = DOWN & negative number height = UP.

If the other objects are rendering just fine then it's not because your walls haven't rendered, it's because either they haven't been raised up to your new terrain level or they have been deleted.

If you're still having issues with objects disappearing or blackness near the edges as you walk try saving it in Revision 586.

Making the GAT Height for the waters is not totally fix overall just only some places are fix.

Would you mind to give me your MAP? i'll fix it.

Considering you joined March 31, 2012 and you only have 2 posts, that in itself draws a conclusion in my opinion to not be considered trust worthy as your reputation hasn't been established in this community. Just to be clear I have absolutely nothing against you and I welcome community involvement to help out with support topics. However it is Mechomorph's choice to lend his map to you based on his own discretion.

@Mechomorph - Before you do make any decision I recommend Chemical Crush's idea using r586 as proper quad-tree calcs aren't present in 620.

Yes, i'm new on rAthena i mean in this community but i can guarantee you i can fix it.

Anyways, making using BrowEdit 586 or 620 as i said earlier, you can't fix it not totally fix some areas are fixes but everytime you walk in other tiles it will be blacken.

For all players having issues with 'Blackening Textures In-game' just hit this and follow.

We will use the 'Hexing Method'

Open 'XVI32' or any Hexing Editors.

Find the .rsw,(File) open it up in a Hex Editor or XVI32, and look for "0201" on the first line and change it to "0109".

NOTE: if you Hex the .gat(File) it will give you like this "unrecognized version".

It should be worked, and i can guarantee it tested with Ivion 'Matrix Illion Map'

Please give me some feed back.

You are correct with the 0201 replacing it with 0109. r586 outputs .rsws with the 0109 hex code where as r620 still uses 0201. What this does is it replaces black textures with transparent nodraws. So you no longer see it.

I dunno I used the hex editing thing before and it didnt work. Objects were still missing and whatnot, I can't remember why it was a really long time ago.

And no offense but i've NEVER had issues with saving with 586. But I probably dont map as much as you guys, so I guess there could be some error.

Black texture is solved but about object can't solve yet
