Suggesting:

-whoip

-ipinfo

-refresh

Would be an GM only command of course

whoip would display the ip of a given character if the character name or id is input. Or display all players on the same ip range if ip is given.

ipinfo would display all players on the given ip range, allowing wildcard usage so for instance 127.127.127.*

something like that? if you got any better idea to the structure that could of course be applied it's just a general idea I'd like to see implemented

and while I'm at it, a refresh that's not bugged/exploitable? I don't know if this is true or not but I saw posts in the past on eA where it mentioned that the usage of refresh could allow for potential exploits, so would it be possible to prevent these by updating the command?

Complete DB apart form the original ones to load custom things. Also the ones that Nameless2you have said to manage the players.

Aren't item_db2 and mob_db2 meant to do that already?

There are some files that are missing to make it completly custom, like item_trade and others. I would separate completely the custom of what can be modified by rAthena to make it cleaner (as the way if the import folder for the configuration).

Like Kaito already said, I'd love it if rAthena get's all 3rd Jobs finished working :) .

Also maybe the Commands which the others suggested are nice ideas,but maybe adding a feature,which other RO Emulators don't have. Something like a rAthena Custom Job already added to the server side,and the rAthena Users will just have to add a sprite to the Client side.

-Split npc folder into renewal and pre-renewal, because many scripts have been updated to renewal and there are no pre-renewal version of them, also quest exp is different in pre and re.

-Focusing on new exes support

PK mapflag with a variable for setting damage penalty for player vs player but doesnt affect pvm on a map specified...

sample: mapflag PKON 90

which does: enables pkmode on map specified with pvp damage calculation of 90%

I agree with the persons who suggested we get 3rd Class and Renewal mechanics working as soon as possible. They've only been released 3 years ago. Without this, interest in RO will continue to drop; there simply isn't enough new content to keep players interested.

I'm almost 100% sure, we won't add irc module. It is not widely used, and would involve significant amount of work to maintain it.

I suggest rathena focuses on new clients and third classes. Right now, new optimized "custom" separate DBS don't matter and commands. Rathena should focus more on support for already released new clients, fixing third jobs, and eathena bugs. Everything else isn't a main priority and shouldn't be added right away.

+1, Support to 3rd classes + new clients I think is more important that the other suggestion I did.

I'd like for guild skills to not lag a server during WoE.

One day a sqlite implementation for local testing would be nice since that's pretty much the logical conclusion for /rAsql

Not realistic but the skill engine would be better off remade into something more modular so it's much easier to make skills.

I'd like a better/auto match from const.txt and src enum, I mean we have like defined sp_bonus in txt then redefined in src for usage, so yeah that could lead to some issues same for sc_status ,job....

I'd like a renew of status.c (db mode plz), battle and perhaps skill, is not that they're not understanble but they're quite long with few doc, it's probably gonna be more intuitive in module are phoenix said. (also I want to get ride of those switch case listing).

Ah yeah last thing it's quite annoying to follow a pattern with those huge switch atm, I mean I mostly go to skill.h select a skill let say AL_PNEUMA, found usage. But if instead using this label someone put the harcoded value, or something like AL_RUWACH+1, then I fucked so it's quite annoying.

- 3rd job skills [3-1, 3-2] jobs..

- new client

- new data files

- new items and new monster - all new changes in the original ragnarok world..

- for me this is the most important first to add..

@viptrade(playername) trade to any player who is Online and is located somewhere inside the game anywhere

@trade(playername) trade to the person in the same map as you or well in front of you to be exact and yeah I believe this

one is already implanted @quesoph
