master257 Posted January 7, 2012 Author Share Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) Well my first problem was that the all the patcher downloads were dead (lol) but serverside is completely setup (all working) clientside is a complete mystery for me! basically I just got to be able to load the client, but it seems I need a newer data folder the one i found on the forums http://rathena.org/b...rathena-client/ seems to be not working properly or something.. also when I change the clientinfo.xml it still wont authenticate with the server at all (this is without having any patcher or anything) EDIT: will add screen shots in a few minutes Edited January 7, 2012 by master257 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shiro Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 kinda half and half, but the chat_wnd_f lua error was due to lua files i believe but I think the poster solve that issue once i fixed my lua files everything was smooth sailing from there, when I got that no message stuff I got the translation files into english, and ran a simple complied GRF (or data folder) and logged me on with no issue.
