It looks decent overall. Personally, I don't like the font for the logo, and the notice box makes the words not as visibly clear. That huge spot of black seems like there's something missing. More people need to do the same to help the community overall. +10 points from me for that one, Daddy. I do have a few criticisms, however, and hope that they'll help to improve your design/designs in the future. 1. The header font is a tad hard to read. Possibly, change the font type to something more readable, or, use different colors/placement. 2. The buttons on the left and right sides feel like they were rushed when it came to applying text effects. Rather than using just an outer glow effect (kudos for not using the default cream yellow color), perhaps apply a stroke of 2-3 pixels, and use a different font. The buttons themselves I like, but the font and text effects are what ruin it for me. 3. The center "content" box, scrap the inner shadow. Go with a black fill, and simply lower the opacity on it so that it gives the appearance of being sunken in a bit, without compromising the overall aesthetic. Btw, the patcher design is nice, but I don't really like the part where the News goes, with that like Inner Glow? Or i dunno Outer Glow and when It goes dark at the bottom, It wouldn't look nice when you open the patcher itself. I do like the font at the top, it's really cool and smexy and you used Stroke which is nice with titles...maybe you could use a double stroke with less opacity on the second...like my siggy xD Generally, needs some editing but It's nice.
