I'm trying to set-up a test server and got to the point where I'm fixing up client side stuff. (which is way harder now compared to when people were still actively keeping up with it.)

I tried using this

But somehow, my window appears like this. I've experimented with all my Setup stuff but still the same results.

Does anyone know how to fix this or can point me in the right direction in how you'd make an up to date client side?

well mostly it does deal with the setup.exe, What client version is it? Have you run setup.exe as admin as well

It's the same version as whatever version is in the given link. And yes, I've done that.

hmm weird, also the XXX doesn't look too good as well, meaning its not compatible lua files, but usually fixed by shinryo's weediff remove serial display. I would try diffing your own client so you know what actually is getting diffed in the patched client.

Do you have a link as to where I can get the latest undiffed client and the patches?

I tried diffing my own client. No luck either. The window is still small.

EDIT

Fixed it. There was something or something missing in installation of kRO and RE from RMS that was causing the issue.
