Need help with playing thru LAN. The other PC is getting "Rejected by server(3)" when trying to login. I can see the attempt on my PC:

Quote

[Status]: Request for connection (passwdenc mode) of test123 (ip: xxx.xxx.x.x)
[Info]: Closed connection from 'xxx.xxx.x.x'.

I already port forwarded 6900, 6121, and 5121. The other PC's sclientinfo.xml is using my IP address from ipconfig and already set my PC to static IP.

char_athena.conf:

if it's a LAN it doesn't even need to do port forward. all you need to do is to be allowed on your firewall.

and also, on your char_athena.conf and map_athena.conf make sure you use your LAN IP instead of 127.0.0.1 and also check if your client uses clientinfo.xml or sclientinfo.xml and also just use your LAN IP there.

For char_athena.conf, I only used my LAN IP on char_ip and retained 127.0.0.1 on login_ip. For map_athena.conf, I used LAN IP on map_ip and retained 127.0.0.1 on char_ip. Should I change everything to LAN IP?

The other PC uses clientinfo.xml or sclientinfo.xml with my LAN IP and getting rejected. I'm just confused as to when my client (on this PC) uses sclientinfo.xml, it's getting rejected from the server as well. But it works fine if I delete the sclientinfo.xml.

EDIT: Issue resolved. I removed <passwordencrypt /> <passwordencrypt2 /> from clientinfo.xml and sclientinfo.xml. Thanks!
