How update rathena emulator by git programs ?

 hi guys can anyone plz show me how to pull the new feature and updates from github by any git programs step by step cus I became crazy feel like I missed something, but I don't know what it is

like i tried to update 16th Anniversary Patch Manually from here and its start commit with skill_cast_db.txt WTH i dont have this in my emulator only got skill_nocast_db.txt but its not same   ?!! @_@ did i missed something!! 

and do i need to got old patchs and updates for new ones ?

my emulator cloned from https://github.com/rathena/rathena 

I am a newbie started last 5 Months from

thats mean u need to have the updated pull request that already merged with latest rathena commit.

fix the conflicts when u git pull and should be okay.

I am a newbie started last 5 Months from 

 

git pull origin master <-- this will pull all latest git (if u clone from rathena before).

in latest commit most of skills database already converted into skill_db.yml
