How to make an Offline Lan connection

Hi everyone, I badly need your help with on how to make an Offline Lan connection for a Lan cable directly connected on my PC-1 and PC-2. Can anyone please give me a step by step guide for this. I downloaded all the files from here

just edit IP lan 192.168.0.1 [ for server and clientinfo xml ]

Already tried;

1) clientinfo.xml = 127.0.0.1(for server-PC1) & 192.168.0.1(for PC-2)

2) clientinfo.xml = 192.168.0.1(for server-PC1) & 192.168.0.1(for PC-2)

But my PC-2 still says "Failed to connect to server" eventhough it can see that the server already has (1 player) on it.
