I'm still newbie in this server management thing. So I would like to ask a noob question about server. My friend set up an old server with old database, and I have a newer version of server database. I would love to update it, but I don't know how to. Can I replace the old one with new one, and still save the SQL progress, like character inventory, storage ETC. Or every character with their inventory, storage, rank ETC. will be wiped out? Or if someone could point me how to update the server, that would be very helpfull! (I already read about the git pull thing, but didn't found out how to do it.) The server is hosted in a linux machine. I'm using putty and filezilla to manage it. Thanks in advance~!
