clif_parse: Received unsupported packet

Question

Hello,

I'm using rathena for the first time and i'm having an issue. I can connect with my account (or create a new one) and see my chars or create a new char but as soon as I choose one of them the message 'disconnected from server" appears.Also, this is the message shown in Putty

I'm using 2014-03-05bRagexe. I`ve tried many different option at nemo (including only the reccomended) but the problem continues.

If you have disabled packet encryption on the server side, make sure to disable it also in the client side. There should be a prompt in the console.

@Akbare and @Meister

I did it. Packet obfuscation is commented in packets.h and I disabled packet encryption in my hexed, Then i compiled the emulator.

As you said, with the "#define PACKET_OBFUSCATION" commented in packets.h the console generates a warning message.

I tried to create another account but the result was the same. I'm using the latest rathena available.

@Meister and @Cyro

Im working right now, so I will try it in a couple hours.

I'm not 100% sure but I think i did it as well (enable them in server side and client side).

I'll take a screen shot, perform the test and then post here the results.

This is what i see when i select a char (with packet obfuscation disabled in my hexed and rathena)

image.png.7a096e978d54eab5a12592e6d5a9d41a.png

with PACKET_OBFUSCATION ON the result was the same.

I'm verifying everything again.

EDIT

Interesting.

After a few hours i finally decided to read the name of the files i was using... I was using ragexe and not ragexeRE.

working like a charm now :)

Thank you guys!
