itemInfo.lua Wracked With Errors
Hey, guys. So it seems every itemInfo.lua I download is wracked with errors. Mostly unfinished strings and erroneous characters. Does anyone know where I can find an english version that does not have this problem? I'd hate to go through hundreds of thousands of lines of code fixing all this unfinished strings. Any help would be appreciated.
Attached is an example of what I mean. All the red circles highlight the strings that are missing closing parenthesis. There are literally thousands.
I've managed to fix my problem with these steps :
Disable encode guessing on notepad++ ( Setting -> Preferences -> MISC, uncheck 'autodetect character encoding')
Get new clean iteminfo.lua
Open it with notepad++ (remember to disable autodetect character encoding first)
Put ur custom item there (Do not use korean / japanese / non-ansi character / letter on custom items)
Save
Give it a try.
