First of all I apologize for my bad English.

Hello I want to show you my first map and take advantage to ask some questions with some problems that have arisen.
The first problem I have is that I start my map with proportions of 200 by 200 and it seemed quite large but when developing it seems that it is not.
Before I leave some captures so that you can see it and then squeeze it so it will be easier for me to understand.

The part of the map that can be seen in these captures is what has worked the stairs the dock and its base.
I like the way it looks, without ever being in the customer when you place yourself at the top of the stairs and its surroundings you can see the edge of the map and I do not like it.

And well the question is, how to do to prevent the edges from being seen.
It occurred to me to make a bigger map and to copy everything on the new one.
But once copied when trying to save freezes the browedit.

I hope someone can give me some advice

Well now I show you the rest of the map.

First we have a pair of 3d custom models

Y despues todo lo mas normal y comun

Hey there.

Nice map!!

About the edge of the map, you have two options:

  1. You make another map with a big size and copy everthing there (when doing it, disable the lightmap, this help to prevent some lag and crash's);
  2. You can use the GAT. Make, in the area where players can go to see the edge impossible to walk and they won't be able to walk there, preventing them to see the black edge.

Nice. There's clearly a lot of creativity in you!
As for your problem, Nyanko summed it up. Using gats and a wide surrounding area around your map will be the best way to go. It's a common first-timer mistake to build near the edges, but this is something you'll want to avoid in the future or you'll have to do a lot of work to fix it up later on. Rather frustrating and discouraging.

Hm... this is a little difficult to fix now because 200x200 is the largest (safest) size to use (although, some claim 225x225 is), everything beyond that will cause the client to crash. But your map is already 200x200, so the only thing I can really suggest at this point is try to slim in the map to make it more centered somehow.
