Tales of Pirates Server Sharing

So, say I create my server and I am ready to share it with others. How do I go about making it ready for others to play? My brother and I have been working on our server, and we each have our own computer. My brother launches the server on his computer. So, I'm using my computer as if I am some random person that wants to start playing this server. So, I am wondering how we would organize the files and the information in a way that I can download the files and play the game on my computer.

use your router  WANIP instead of localhost in server config files as well as client.xml ,

Not quite sure what router WANIP/localhost are. Sorry, I am pretty new to this stuff. Learning as I go.

i suggest go and rent a vps. much better and easy to config.
