FLuxCp integration into IIS

I noticed there's not a lot of talk about IIs and flux CP together, id like to use it since i have it available to me. is there some sort of incompatibility or something? can i use IIs or not?

Fluxcp works providing php is available. IIS is a web service platform. If you install php then yes, it'll work.

using IIS is almost the same as using XAMPP. You just have to install the needed PHP version (and its plugins) and it should work correctly.

yeah i eventually got it going after installing PHP, took a couple tweaks but got it going eventually. even created a character right as i opened, was pretty cool. is there a reason I've seen people advise against it?

I haven't seen anyone advising against using IIS, but i guess thats because most people purchase webhosting they don't need to install anything as apache & php are already provided. I assume you're running your control panel from your home pc/windows vps?
