need help no-ip port

I port forward my router but noip.com can't detect my port

please help me how to setup noip

What exactly are you trying to achieve? can you be more specific when asking such questions? 

If you are trying to host from your own home. You're in the right path. But I suggest, when you port forward 6900,5121,6121. Make sure all of those ports are able to accept TCP/UDP.

Port 6900,5121,6121 can only be detected/opened when you opened a software that listens to the port you've just forwarded.

sorry for the lack of info on my post

I am trying to setup a no-ip host name and as you can see port are not detected as I configure my noip hostname

to be honest with you I really don't know what I am doing, your right I am planning to host a game from my home as a test server

I don't know how it works, I only have an Idea clientinfo>>>no-ip hostname>>>port 6900>>>my rAthena but I don't know if it is right

I port forward all 6900,5121,6121 and able to accept TCP/UDC I also run my rAthena that listen to those port as you suggest

I created a host name but I can't configure it noip always detect it close, my fire wall from both PC and modem are close

I check all my ports on www.grc.com but all my ports are not close either open they are all stealth 

can you teach me how to do it properly please

You have to configure your char_athena.conf

 

 

// Login Server IP

// The character server connects to the login server using this IP address.
// NOTE: This is useful when you are running behind a firewall or are on
// a machine with multiple interfaces.
login_ip: 192.168.x.x ( PUT YOUR IPV4 ADDRESS HERE)
 

 

 

// Character Server IP

// The IP address which clients will use to connect.
// Set this to what your server's public IP address is.
char_ip: example.net (IP HOST NAME YOU GOT FROM NO-IP)
 

 

 

And configure your sub_net.conf

 

 

// Subnet support file

// Format is:
// subnet: net-submask:char_ip:map_ip
// you can add more than one subnet (max 16)
// check is if((net-submask & char_ip ) == (net-submask & servip)) => ok
 
subnet: 255.0.0.0:127.0.0.1:127.0.0.1
subnet: 255.255.255.0:192.168.x.x:192.168.x.x ( ipv4 )
subnet: 255.255.255.0:(no-ip hostname):
(no-ip hostname) 

 

 

Don't forget to configure your clientinfo.xml to your no-ip hostname

thanks for your reply I appreciate it very much

as I googled my problem I don't think that I done wrong it turns out that the problem is my ISP because I am using a residential connection and not a business one so they close or stealth my ports on default :(
