Hello Guys,

 

Few questions here, I'm really, really confused. I'm trying to change the Ragexe Icon using Reshack. I downloaded the Icon packs from here and successfully replaced it. Now, I'm trying to diff the client but it gives a lot of error, I'm using xDiffpatcher. I tried to use the default ragnarok icon then no errors.

use NEMO, it come with custom ragexe icon diff.

otherwise, diff your client first before you change the icon using Reshack

First change the icon before diffing the client if you are using reshack. You can use custom icon feature if you are using NEMO.

Sorry for the late reply guys but you are correct, I change the ICON first before I diff the client. Anyone?

Not exactly. You can change the icon while diffing. It's already built in with the nemo differ. Although take note that you're better off using the default one because the icon resolution is terrible via nemo. You can use reshack to get a better quality icon but the client won't work even before or after diffing.

Better using NEMO.. After you patched/diff with NEMO, then you using reshack and save it.. It works for me though~

Although take note that you're better off using the default one because the icon resolution is terrible via nemo. You can use reshack to get a better quality icon but the client won't work even before or after diffing.

If you're gonna use xdiff then I think it's safe to use reshack after you diff. If you're going to use NEMO to diff, you wont be needing reshack.

Sadly this hasn't been solved yet. Atm we're better off using the default one.
