Script fehler? oder ich werde langsam zu alt...

Hallo ihr letzten Überlebenden des German Supports....,

 

ich habe mal wieder nen server aufgesetzt und habe paar alte Scripts von SarapRo ausgegraben... nun mein problem

 

npc =>> all in one warper (basierend auf Euphys script mit geringfügigen modifikationen)

 

Problem =>> soweit funktioniert alles ( warp repair buff etc ) , doch manchmal verschwindet einfach die auswahl box und der char bewegt sich nicht mehr bis zum relog...

 

nun meine frage, habe ich da was übersehn? oder bin ich langsam zu alt....

Kann gut sein, dass das Script einfach austimed.

 

Ich würde aber definitiv den aktuelle git head empfehlen, statt eine nicht mehr supportete SVN Version.

ist aber komisch da ich server 1zu1 von root kopiert habe und es ja schon in dieser konstelation lief( sowohl online als auch local)

ok. hab das mit dem master von github auch mal versucht.. beim 3ten test auch spontan close...., daher vermute ich mal dass es am script an sich liegen wird...

schonmal das original script mit deinem leicht modifizierten verglichen wie es sich verhält ?

Um erstmal festzustellen ob es am original liegt oder an deiner Modifikation

Wahrscheinlich wieder so ein verschissener timeout.

 

Adde mal irgendwo am anfang:
freeloop(1);

Wenns dann einwandfrei geht, dann kennst du das Problem.

freeloop zu aktivieren ist jedoch nicht das beste da es zunem endless loop kommen könnte.
Kannst aber das freeloop gegen ende des scripts auch wieder deaktivieren.

 

 

Ich hab nen ziemlich grosses und komplexes script welches auch solche Probleme aufwies.
Der freeloop konnte das beheben.

Ansonsten adden scripter häufig irgendwo wait dazwischen.
aber ich find das genau so bescheuert da es meisst nicht richtig funktioniert.

freeloop ist böse xD

 

Normalerweise müsste dann auch im Mapserver ein Fehler mit "infinity loop" angezeigt werden.

 

Aber wenn man sich das Script mal oben ansieht würde ich sowieso raten ein ganz anderes zu nutzen. Allein diese Massen an Labels x.x

Der beste warper den ich genutzt habe war von Toasty oder wie er noch gleich hieß, meisterstück.

freeloop mag keine gute Lösung sein, aber in bestimmten Fällen gibt es sogar gar keine andere Lösung, zum teil funktioniert es nicht einmal mehr mit timeouts dazwischen.

 

Auf jeden Fall ist es gut zum eingrenzen ob es daran liegt.

 

Aber ja der Map Server sollte das dann auch anzeigen, da hast du recht.
