Hi everybody.

I'm trying to install a serv on a VPS (on Centos) for some tests. So, I follow the Wiki Guide (https://rathena.org/wiki/Installation_(CentOS)), I configure my userid/pass for inter server connection. I also change the s1/p1 to my new interserver userid/pass. I have commented de Packet_Obfuscation parameter. I have no MD5 Passwords, I dind't touch anything else.

But i get this strange error

[Status]: Logging in to char server...
[Fatal Error]: Connection to char-server failed 3, please check conf/import/map_conf userid and passwd.

But I've checked my interserv userid and passwd, they are the same in char_athena, in map_athena and in my DB.

So, I retry ./athena-start restart, but this time it worked.  /hmm
Still, when i'm trying to access to my serv with a 2013-08-07 client, diffed with Disable Packet Encryption, I get a "Rejected from Server (3)" error, and a "closed connection from "my_ip" in the console.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

If you have change your s1/p1 password, make sure that you update the same password at your login sql table.
