Izlude map problem

Hey guys, i'm running a pre-renewal client. Im using the old Izlude map, added in my xxx.grf. When i start the game, i went to izlude map, i realize im having difficulties with walking around.. Im guessing is because when the client reads the .gat files, the client reads my izlude map, but in game its still using the Original izlude map's .gat.. So what can i do to fix this?? any master sifu here please teach me

In data.ini add your xxx.grf after [data].

2=xxx.grf

3=data.grf

update your db/re/mapcache.dat since the GAT files are different.

Leprechaun, nothing to do with data.ini ... lol, if i cant even do the data.ini,i wouldnt even be able to login to my server =.=''

Emistry, thank you very much... I've done this before 5 years back when i was still in eAthena... But now i couldnt remember how... i'll test it out after work

Just to reiterate update your mapcache preferrably what is inside your pre-renewal folder inside your db folder. Use the mapcache tool https://rathena.org/board/topic/53424-weemapcache/

 

Open your mapcache with that tool and let it load. The with that tool click on GRF and choose the grf with the old izlude maps. Then save.
