Change player name color?

Hey guys,

 

I've searched all over Google for this info, and I cannot find it. How exactly do I change the color of a player's name? I'm pretty sure I just need to hex my client, but I don't know where to look in the exe for this info. What do I need to hex to change this? Thanks.

Not it's neccesary hex your client, I've seen some servers with a name color changer npc system, so... i think it's possible to make a function on source for do it.

They modify the client such that they can have many colors

Yes, I'm already aware that it's possible... The question is how to do it.

I've not as experienced as others but have found just 1 way to change the color of the character or mob to a different color. It's been a while, but can only do 1 and not many =S

Okay, so what is the method...?

Again it's been a while unfortunately and I haven't tinkered with it for a few months, but with ollydbg you can attach to the client (for me I fumbled around) and find what controls the color of the text for the name of players/mobs. It's not much, but it's as much as I can give at the moment =/
