Hello,

I've been trying to use custom loadingscreens for my client and I still fail even though I know I do it correctly.

I put them inside the folder: data\texture\À¯ÀúÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º

with the names loading00.jpg, loading01.jpg...etc and Clientinfo.xml has the same names of them. I made a grf file called loading.grf (for example) that has both loadingscreens and clientinfo.xml AND STILL NOTHING HAPPENES. I've tried everthing.

I think that my problem somehow has something to do with changing langtype, because I use 19 which is uae and I cannot ever be sure of that "thought".

Thanks in advance.

And yeah, that's exactly what I did. Same pattern, loading00 to the end!

Like I told you I believe it's somehow connected to the langtype. Anyways, I have to test another langtype as you mentioned before.

I've solved the problem!

It was just with the client I used, it wasn't me who diffed it so I did it myself and there you go, it worked properly!

Thank you guys anyway.

Any chance you're not loading your loading.grf on the data.ini ?

loading.grf is the first grf to load.

Please, provide client date and clientinfo.xml so we can try to help.
But, you can test using langtype 0 if anything changes.

Date of client is 2012/4/10. Clientinfo.xml is the exact same as what's in: https://rathena.org/wiki/Clientinfo.xml

With changing the langtype to 19, and BTW for me 19 is a must. I don't want to use another langtype.

Well, even you don't want to change the langtype, you could change it to test if it's the problem.

As far as I could test, it's not.
The only thing I had to do is to follow the default names, I mean:

<loading>
	<image>loading00.jpg</image>
	<image>loading01.jpg</image>
	<image>loading02.jpg</image>
	<image>loading03.jpg</image>
	<image>loading04.jpg</image>
	<image>loading05.jpg</image>
	<image>loading06.jpg</image>
	<image>loading07.jpg</image>
	<image>loading08.jpg</image>
	<image>loading09.jpg</image>
	<image>loading10.jpg</image>
</loading>

And, like, the first file must be named that way, and on, to work.
At least, was how I managed to make it works.
