Packet spamming is no longer possible by normal means, with this feature each packet sent has its own id, so spamming (by sending the same packet more than once) is impossible.

 

Due to this nature, packet modifications from 3rd party clients are not able to send the same packets or default packets at all. So WPE, rPE, botting and other packet editing programs won't be able to connect.

Thus, more protection.

 

That's how I understood it and hopefully this explanation is clear for you.
