Instead of "Equipment" why don't you change it to "Equip"?
also for your "Individual" change it to "Fav" on you mgstringtable.txt
BTW
if your mgstringtable.txt is not the same with the guide provided.
Just use CTRL+F
search for this(w/out the double quotes) "Equipment#" and "Individual#" and replace it with my recommended label.

Actually item_delay.txt is already provided you don't need to bother creating a script.
In order to add more item delay go to itemdb.h and find this
#define MAX_ITEMDELAYS
then recompile the src code.
In there you can specify how many item delays you have entered on your trunk/db/item_delay.txt
