can u show me how to updated pull request that already merged up

hi guys can anyone plz show me how to pull the new feature and updates from github by any git programs step by step cus I became crazy feel like I missed something, but I don't know what it is like i tried to update 16th Anniversary Patch Manually from here and its start commit with skill_cast_db.txt WTH i dont have this in my emulator only got skill_nocast_db.txt but its not same ?!! @_@ did i missed something!! and do i need to got old patchs and updates for new ones ? my emulator cloned from https://github.com/rathena/rathena I am a newbie started last 5 Months from
