I'm very happy I see this post of yours in rathena. The last time I made my own server way back 2013 was really difficult and frustrating. But after I follow your instructions carefully from the video, I was amaze that it really work well without any problems. Thank you so much for sharing this and I realize that there's a lot of improvement from the last time I play my own client-server (2013).

Thank you guys to your reply. It's working now. The problem was the wrong patch of the client I'm using. I did download pneuma's working 2013-08-07 patch. Can you tell me how to diff 2013-08-07 client? I just want to learn to do it on my own. Thank you again!

Please help guys. After I select my character, I always reject from server and notice this error in map console: 'clif parse: unknown packet version' I check already the packet db and the clientinfo they are both 45. Do you guys have any idea what exactly is the problem? Thank you in advance.

Guys I need some help. Do you know how to fix this problem? My client version is 20130807 and I check already my mmo.h, clientinfo.xml. After I select my character it always disconnect from server and my map console give this error 'clif parse: unknown packet version' Please help guys and thank you in advance.

Thanks to all who share their comments on my post. I think the problem lies on the data.grf and rdata.grf. My server supports 2012-04-10, while my the date of my GRF files are 2011. I will try your suggestions guys. Thanks again and more power to all members who are supporting rathena community.

I'm currently using 2012-04-10 client. But for experimental purpose, I'm trying to test other clients when I notice that all of them are running but only a small window. I don't think the problem is on the packet_db.txt and mmo.h. I did try all of my other clients but same result as I mentioned. Fortunately, my 2012-04-10 client is working fine. How about you? What client are you currently using?

It's because in 2011-03-15 for example I can add some custom items like wings, and naruto headgears and I'm just curious why it happened. Actually, my 2011-03-15 client was working fine before I decided to try 2012 client. But after I succeeded to run the 2012-04-10 my other clients are not working. I was wondering what happened and I really wanted to fix the problem. Do you have any idea how to solve this? Thank you for replying!

Please help me guys in my problem. My 2012-04-10 client is working properly. But whenever I tried to run my 2011-03-15 and 2011-06-09 client, they run but their window is just small. When I open the client, the box is very small in corner of the screen showing only the minimize and close button. I don't understand what went wrong. There are no problems at their lua files and I'm using the blue ghost setup. I'm using too the data folder v.2 provided by Alexandria and I diff the clients correctly. I can't identify exactly what causes this problem. Does anyone encounter this problem before? I will appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. I will post the image later so you can see it. My 2012-04-10 client is working fine but after I diff another client and edit my data.ini, my 2012-04-10 client began not to work. Does anyone have encounter this problem before? Thank you for anyone who will help me on this problem? Done!

My client that I'm using is 2011-03-15 and it's not supported the Oboro and Kangerou Job. They became poring class. Judas said that 2012-04-10 client would be suffice. I'm using the data folder provided by Alexandria and I'm quite sure that it will not work for 2012-04-10 client. I will appreciate all of your help for helping me for this problem.

type mo "regedit" sa windows run. Naging problema ko din yan. Click mo yung arrow sa HKEY_CURRENT_USER, software, then hanapin mo ung may name na ragnarok. Delete mo ung mga entry na nasa right side. Diyan kasi na save ung diff na HKLM to HKCU na siyang dahilan ng pag run lagi ng setup sa client mo. Gumana sa akin iyan. Just make sure na i uncheck mo lagi ang HKLM to HKCU sa pag diff mo ng client

Thanks to your respond. I did try to experiment the example that you gave in Post #9. I edit the mmo.h and I recompile it. I edit also the packet_db.txt. I downloaded the client 2011-09-06 and its corresponding packet_db. After I patched it using the diff patcher and put it to my ragnarok folder, a "gravity error handler " was appear. Do you know how to solve this? It makes me wonder why all the client exe that I patched even though I downloaded the latest lua files always get error which the "Gravity Error Handler" was appear. To be honest. I have already a client exe which works to my server and I got it to eathena. I'm now currently working how to make custom made clients which will connect to the rathena server. I've notice that there are some weapons that I equipped in my characters are not actually the item when I used it in battle. For example, I equipped the Rudra bow but whenever I kill the monsters the simple bow is what actually appears. Do you think is this because I am using an old version of client? I did try to patch the client according to the options on the image that you upload. I try also to patch the other client but the problem is still the same. The Ragnarok setup is always popup. It really makes me frustrated. Will you upload the client that you've been patch so I can download and try it. Lot of thanks. Can you please give me a link where to download the new ghost setup. I think this might help to my problem because the old setup keeps running whenever I run the client that I've been patch. Thank you again Ainna. I manage my problem now in setup.exe by deleting some registry in HKCU. My problem now is a message box is always appear and it's message is this "attempt to call a nil value" and.
