It's Haziel again, is it possible that this is the return of freebies?
Up to 127 new Shield appearances can be added to most clients using @Neo-Mind's WARP software and the updated Custom Shield patch available as of 2021/01/19.
So, for everyone to try that patch out, I decided to release the simplest of Shields, intended to be just a bit more than a simple pot lid.This Shield is compatible with all classes (4th Jobs included) and both genders.

Very nice.
I have made a similar mod myself, had to crack it a few times before fixing all the issues, still a couple to fix.
Did you manage to fix the Assassin Cross second weapon overlaying the skin weapon? -

Although it's nice advice in a utility point of view, designwise, having a character or renders to cut the bland minimalistic flat design is desirable, however, I agree that the player info should be displayed better.
As for @Elfin, great work, I'm wondering how the patcher system works, does it uses .thor?

Greetings again, rAthena!
I'm Haziel, once more, I'm back planning on new freebies every week!
For the first one of this new series of free content, I'm bringing a new utility sprite: Crystal II.
Crystal II is a Custom Monster, an alternate version to my previous release Crystal, obviously meant to be used in Events, Battlegrounds, War of Emperium or any of those kinds of environments where breaking a seal, switch or crystal might be an objective.
It has Standing, Damage and Dying animations. As usual, Sound Effects are included and it also comes in four colours:

My palettes only covers the alternate ones, you'll still need palettes for the base classes from other source.
And be sure you're not using the 'Force Original Clothes Palettes' diff.

Only if you convince him to use encrypted files without knowing the password, which is kinda also avoidable since the DLL will work on any client with the same name.

Double check if your client isn't diffed with the 'Use Official Cloth Palettes', that might be the issue.

Do the opposite.
You may keep the description as that but apply the script effect on the pet itself to check if the item is equipped.

Although what you want is possible to do in ACT Editor, it isn't the best solution.
Export the frames of your NPC, edit them to add the text on Photoshop and replace the original frames, that will give you a much faster solution.
However, your whole situation can be solved in Client side using signboard.lub.
