    A new large map for group events with many players.

    This map contains three parts of Fortress Saint Darmain and Beacon Island with Pharos Lighthouse.
    It is also surrounded by parts of neighboring locations for ambience.
    And the main innovation is that you can enter all houses and caves without switching to another map.

    The map size is 450x450 tiles or 900x900 cells.

    Video:

    Since the four main maps cmd_fild06(07,08,09) were united by one theme, they were ideal for connection.
    They represent four different zones - jungle, desert, island, mountain ranges.
    And in the mountains there are a lot of obstacles in the form of fort ruins.

     

    The map is suitable for group events such as Battle Royale and etc.

    In the south and east of the map there are houses and caves available for visiting.
    The lighthouse rooms were designed by me, the rest of the rooms were taken from the maps in_rogue, job3_guil01(02), que_job01, alb_ship, and anthell01(02).
    Here you can place loot or simply hide from other players.

    In the second half of the video you can see a visit to all the premises.

    Also added climbs to the gazebos in the small green area, many passages and added the ability to use skills and shoot from lowlands and hills as usual.

    Shadows and lighting recreated.

    P.S. When creating the map, difficulties arose with different water levels in different maps, so I had to take the average water level as a basis.

    A seamless map containing the entire island of Angrboda, where the place of worship of the god Odin is located.

    Following the theme of the game, I wanted to explore new horizons of the mapping again!
    The entire location exists only on the console screen, which fits perfectly with the player’s point of view.
    As you can see, in the video, the console has two modes, which are activated by real buttons on the console.
    And even a button to turn off the console screen has been implemented, which should lead to the player returning to the place where the console was activated.

    The architecture of the map and all textures was created entirely by hand in a 3D editor.

    The console was created literally with a ruler in hand, from the moment of purchase.
    The appearance is made in the official style of the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition, but on the OLED version and with a custom paint job.

    However, the main goal was to ensure that flowers were collected from Ragnarok assets to match the game world.
    Therefore, this map contains almost all the beautiful flowers that have been found in the official game.

    In the second part of the video you can see the mods in action:
    1) Quiet mode - a mode without monsters (also I can easily add an additional pvp mode if you want)
    2) Battle mode - 36 waves of almost all pre-re monsters of the Plant and Insect race and the final 37th wave is a battle with a random boss of the Plant or Insect race (Golden Thief Bug, Mistress, Maya or Lady Tanee).
    The map is a pocket mini instance in which you can fight in a team on low-level servers (other players will need to go online from their own consoles) or fight solo on high-level servers.

    You can write what next location you want to see from the games on the Switch or any source (This series can be continued...)

    The map was made in the Browedit 1 program without rms2 models.

    Hello, there is small update for Navayo.

    Navayo received updated textures, now almost all are unique.
    Fixed minor bugs and added a script with portals.
    Added an internal map for houses on the map.

    This is a location from the game Fall Guys.
    The main idea is to avoid being knocked into the water by moving walls.

    Unfortunately, this is an unfinished map cause I had a problem while creating this map...

    Issue: Standing players do not activate the script when they are in the area of a moving NPC

    This issue was raised in 2015, but there was no solution.

    You can see this problem in the video under the spoiler.
    When the character moves, Label OnTouch is triggered and the wall pushes him onto the cell (time 0:10).
    But if he just stands there, the wall will pass through him (time 0:20).

    The first team starts outside, and the second inside the temple.

    The map was created entirely in the program BrowEdit 586.

    There is one src change - you need to add "areakill" command from this thread.
    Also for optimal performance of the map, the "Visible area size" in client.conf of about 50 is required.
    Otherwise, it is only possible to check the status of active objects at close range.

    Taekwondo jumping should also be banned or WoE restrictions should be turned on altogether.

    The book of fire looked too simple compared to the others and I wanted to make it wilder and more complex.
    Starting platforms appeared, spikes were added for coolness, only one passage was left and two connected portals were made.
    If you stand on the portal, then the script is triggered, and for example, you can teleport to another portal. Or whatever.

    (I had to make connected custom textures based on the official ones, because the texture system of the 2nd level has a strange logic)
    Added rocks, stalagmites, and other objects to decorate the cave
    Improved the dragon tower on top of the mountain, added rocky platforms
    Also adapted the monsters_MJ of the original 3rd level to the style of the 1st and 2nd levels:
    removed auras, enlarged the lava golem sprite, and added a recolored version of the GRIZZLY

    But at the moment, the creation of updated sprites is completed!

    Each sprite is hand tested and stamped inside.
    In the process of creation and testing, the version with the standard aura became irrelevant, so only the updated aura remains in the final version (like in this showcase).
    The pack now contains exactly 600 sprites.

    The last one was added single dagger version of Eremes Guile based on the sprite: md_ed_eremes.
    The sprite has been recreated in the style of standard biolab monsters with separate head, body and weapon.

    It belongs to the alternative sprites, due to the unique attack animation.
    This special one can be used on the lone Eremes Guile living on the 2nd floor of the biolab.
    Since he only has 1 dagger left, you can make him twice as weak so that low-level players are not very afraid of him.

    ROYSTR is a map for two teams to play together.
    The map will have two modes available at the same time.
    However, participation in the 2nd mode will be available only after passing the 1st.

    [1st Mode]
    Each team starts on a separate copy of the map and has its own quest lines.
    The task of each team is to complete the quest chain and then they will have the opportunity to get to a fully connected joint location.
    Minimum number of participants: 2+ (at least 1 per team)

    [2nd Mode]
    Players compete to complete quests on a fully connected map for "likes" for their team.
    The team that gets the most "likes" in a game session wins.
    There are special rewards from each NPC on the 2nd mode, which will force you to replay several times, because you will not be able to complete all the quests alone the first time.
    For example, one of the NPCs should give an unique hat to the player who completed his quest.
    Only one game session can be created at a time, and an infinite number of players can enter it.
    Minimum number of participants: 2+ (at least 1 per team)

    [Quest System]
    Quests are tasks from NPCs hiding in underground shelters throughout the map.
    NPCs communicate with players using a hologram and a cargo bay to accept quest cargo.
    In total there are 10 unique NPCs with their own quest, 5 for each team in the first mode.
    Quest types:
    1) delivery of the quest item to the main base and delivery of the return quest item
    2) repairing the transmitter in the specified coordinates
    3) search for cargo lost by other couriers: the number is 5 pieces. Spawns in the specified region in a random place.
    4) other options

    [Likes]
    Likes are a main reward for completing NPC quests.
    There should be a personal rating of likes and a general rating for each team.

    [Bases]
    The main starting zone of the team, as well as a separate room where the player can hide from the creatures at night to restore HP / SP and get a certain boost to endurance for 5 minutes.

    [Nightfall]
    Randomly, night falls on the island. Creatures appear all over the map at the same time.
    The time of the next night can be checked by the radar at the main base.
    At night you can be safe and relax at the base.

    [Creatures]
    Creatures are strange monsters from the other world, designed to interfere with the players.
    At night everything is filled with their active aggressive forms. Incredibly hard to kill.

    [Chiral crystals]
    Special mobs are like plants that need to be broken to get loot in the form of chiral crystals.
    Chiral crystals can be exchanged at the base for tokens for connecting quest NPCs to the chiral network and for creating and sharpening weapons against creatures and possibly other equip.
    The weapon is supposed to have an effect like: { bonus2 bAddRace,RC_Ghost,(getrefine())*(getrefine())*(getrefine()); }
    Such an effect will make it easier to deal with the creatures with each improvement.

    [Labels]
    1) OnNPCDeath - The death of a lonely creature provokes the appearance of several chiral crystals.
    2) OnPlayerDeath - The death of a player provokes an instant nightfall and the appearance of creatures, which can interfere with both teams.
    The player himself gets to the special location of the Shore, where he just has to get to the opposite coast to return to his world, that is, waste the team's time.

    Can't teleport due to world instability.
    Teams can fight each other in the 2nd mod.

    The map is meant to be integrated into the Battleground 2.0 system. Unfortunately, my level
    of scripting is only creating miniquests without using global and custom variables, so I never do it
    alone.

    Also of interest is pixel art. It would be great to see variations on the garment in the form of a bridge baby along with a detecting claw.
    For example, with the help of such a garment one could check the location of the creatures at the moment.

    We also need to work out rewards, stories of quest characters, balancing creatures and weapons against them.
    Also a general discussion of the mod.

    I don't like the original 3rd level, because it's just copy-paste of the 2nd,
    so I tried to combine the styles of the 1st and 2d levels,
    made the overall look more aggressive,
    also added elements of architecture, which ruins were visible on the original levels
    and made the maximum size of the map, where all the monsters of Magma Dungeon can fit.

     

    There are 2 versions.
    In style of original 2nd LVL (you can see it in the first part of the video):

    The main idea behind sprites with two types of attack is that they can be used as:
    1. different ordinary monsters with only one type of attack initially
    2. monsters with the ability to transform one into another depending on the use of
    skills by players or randomly

    Main examples of use for such sprites:
    1.1. Celia / Laurell with a staff / book has a casting time and normal delay when using one of the types of magic bolts from a distance and near
    1.2. Celia / Laurell with a knife uses instant magic bolts on melee attacks (as if she / he had Auto-Spell enabled)
    2.1. Margaretha with a staff can cast protective spells on monsters around her and attack with normal speed (like supportive priest)
    2.2. Margaretha with the book casts protective spells only on herself and attack way more faster (like battle priest)
    3. Wikebine / Gertie / Josephina / Trentini / Kavach / Alphoccio with the ability to melee attack and carry a bow can randomly change the type of attack from ranged to melee and from melee to ranged to prevent players using Pneuma (Cecil is the exception, as a professional archer only)

  16. A map inspired by the mobile game from 2004 made for a small quest in a medieval setting.
    The brave citizen Anry sets off in search of the princess, the daughter of the king.
    On his way, townspeople and fabulous creatures will help him.
    And in the end, after the great battle with the dangerous dragon, a feast in a local
    tavern and maybe a wedding.
    I was still lazy to do the quest itself, and I won’t be able to do it 100% myself because I don’t have my own server and I can only code eAthena.

    Almost each month there appeared another vain knight which was eaten by the dragon in no time.
    What can be done? In childhood you heard that the dragon can be defeated only with the help of magic...

    The location size is 300x300 cells, includes 1000 objects and 3 types of modified classic texture.
    The view of the frozen lake is made in one custom texture to give uniqueness to the surface and lighting.
    The depth of the lake is sufficient to almost raise the camera up without graphic blackness at the bottom.
    The entire central zone and most of the land around is free to move.

    The space in the game is made in 2D, so I had to mirror some lonely objects.
    Also, for the castle in the screenshot there are not enough columns,
    I had to add a couple so that everything would not fall apart.
    It was decided to make the blocks exclusively in the form of a relief,
    because the logic of the game involves their constant piling up,
    which makes it impossible to make them as objects.
    Also, you can walk on all the flying blocks,
    you can get there through the jump skill or through a script,
    or just by going there it doesn’t really matter...

    Prontera filds restyling (only 00, 04, 05, 07, 08 and half of 06 are ready)

    Project in progress, just sharing what we have at this moment.

    All information here:

    Just add this as grf or install files in your data (make a backup!). After installation in client make new map_cache with updated prt maps.

    Or you can just take the textures instead of replacing maps, as you wish.

    (!) You may need New Prontera 16 ep, Lasagna, Malaya or Dewata staff
