  1. Wow. I love the animated models you made the cycled through different textures. This can be very useful for advertising purposes within a map. I like the lighting effect you setup as well bringing the focus on the center of the arena. Overall, fantastic job as always Olrox. It's been awhile since someone posted a map showcase.. I'm glad you broke the silence!

  2. The mob database targets the sprite via the name.

Try editing the database line for 1872 so instead of "BEELZEBUB_FLY", it says "BEELZEBUB_". Do the same for 1873 so instead of BEELZEBUB, it says "BEELZEBUB_".

  3. Flip Wall Vertically:

    Case 1: Click "V"

    Case 2: Click "ALT + V"

    Flip Wall Horizontally

    Case 1: Click "H"

    Case 2: Click "ALT + H"

Each case depends on the direction of the wall -> N, S, E , W

  4. If you closed BrowEdit too early while it's saving, it can produce a corrupted map file. This is a possibility when you closed the editor. Another case is if any custom textures or models weren't loaded (missing pathway to textures or models). Try opening the map in another revision of BrowEdit to see if it works. Two versions you can try include r586 and r620.

  5. IMO, I've just stuck with magenta in all of my current map projects. It provides proper shadows for both colored & non-colored lightmaps & doesnt create a fade-out effect. Yes, you can use no-draw zones and just remove bad lighting at the edges. However, a fast approach is to just use magenta (1x1) border. The choice is really yours tho when it comes down to how you wish to present your map.
