  2. Correct, it's useful for tables which harbour large amounts of data, and are read from/written to frequently. The major advantage, or usage, of converting the tables to InnoDB is for when external applications attempt to access the tables at the same time as the server executables are active. Otherwise, because the executables are non-threaded and all commands are executed linearly, there's not much reason to convert them to InnoDB by default since our executables don't require them to be so (there's not really any instances where table-level locking interferes with the flow of the executables, without external applications accessing the data.) It's recommended for when a server is accessing the logs frequently (control panels, custom administration searches etc.) but not much benefit for the executables alone.

  3. File Name: @dropall Modification & @dropalltab File Submitter: Xantara File Submitted: 02 Sep 2012 File Category: Source Modifications Content Author: Xantara, MouseJstr Information The modification on @dropall allows the user to specify what item type should be dropped. It still retains the ability to drop all items at once. The new atcommand, @dropalltab, allows the user to drop all items in a specific inventory tab. The user may choose to drop all items in all tabs (similar to the default behavior of @dropall). Tested on rAthena revision 16738. 4. Hey, I haven't done this on any forum ever really lol, but I figure w/e. Some of you may know of me / may be familiar with some of my scripts. While others may have just been playing on servers with them. But I'm here to say, I'm back. I won't be posting / releasing as many scripts as I did in old-eAthena, but I can asure you that the ones I do release, are bigger and better, than ever before. I may have been inactive in the scripting scene, but that doesn't mean I wasn't sitting around some days dreaming of new things to add to RO servers. Heres just a list of things I've thought of, and have somewhat written in both script and src. Crafting System - You can release it before me, but the one I plan to, will allow for much more than you could be thinking. Enchanting / Upgrading System - Yea, RO has their own, but this one is specifially designed for my Crafting System. Instances - Again, yea RO has them, and me releasing a few more won't be anything new but, there will be more on a wide range, some generic, while some...intense. Maps - Yea, not quite my area of expertise, and definately not something I'm adept at, I'm more of an amature with the knowledge of how they work. But I plan to release 1-2 for each script. Mainly the Crafting/Enchant & Instances. Well thats just a sample of things I intend to release to the public. Be seeing you around rAthena.

  5. Hey everyone. <3 It's me from eA. I thought I might as well bring my maps to rA. The fact that these maps are free does not mean that I don't expect credits. Creditting me is all I ask for, though. A tiny favor in exchange for days of hard work, so please! <: Like my maps? Please be kind to consider buying my Purchasable Maps. 9. File Name: FluxCP Addon - TaskList File Submitter: Akkarin File Submitted: 06 Sep 2012 File Category: Web Resources Content Author: Akkarin Hi all! TaskList Current Version: 1.0.4 !!!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!!! Version 1.0.4 has an sql table change from cp_tasklist to cp_xtasklist. If you don't want this to happen, let it run anyway and then change addon.php back to the old one. The table name isn't changed, instead, the addon uses a new table. Purpose: Provides a collaborative platform for Admins and GMs to maintain a "group To-Do List". Capabilities: * Add task * Assign task * Update progress * URL resources All in all, it's not the biggest, nor the best addon that's ever been written. However, it does the job. Also, as this was only something quick, there's probably a few glitches - I'd appreciate you letting me know about them Click here to download this file

  10. e.g. atcommandlog charlog chatlog global_reg_value inventory loginlog picklog sc_data skill storage I'm not a expert to know all the InnoDB advantages vs MyISAM, I only heard it performs better for tables that rely too much on alter/delete/insert/update/select discuss.

  12. No, they don't drop - it keeps the same behavior as a normal non-modified @dropall.

  13. It's definitely defamation, intended or not intended. No proof, nothing. And rAthena is not the place to create drama. There's RMS for that. Bluesky VPS was removed from the Paid Services section a long time ago, "probably" because of their terrible reputation. There are already a few threads about it all over the forum, there's no need to create another one. And this is not related at all to Server Support. ._. topic locked.

  14. Just to really clarify.. this: is your max stats for players.. as in, if you set it to 100, they can only reach 100 str, etc. o_O. If you set it to 10,000.. you're making their max stat reach 10k. o_o For your casting, head to: https://rathena.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rathena/trunk/conf/battle/skill.conf // The rate of time it takes to cast a spell (Note 2, 0 = No casting time) casting_rate: 100 // Delay time after casting (Note 2) delay_rate: 100 // Does the delay time depend on the caster's DEX and/or AGI? (Note 1) // Note: On Official servers, neither Dex nor Agi affect delay time delay_dependon_dex: no delay_dependon_agi: no // Minimum allowed delay for ANY skills after casting (in miliseconds) (Note 1) // Note: Setting this to anything above 0 can stop speedhacks. min_skill_delay_limit: 100 Also, if you're set in Renewal Mode, keep in mind with this: https://rathena.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/rathena/trunk/src/config/renewal.h /// renewal cast time /// (disable by commenting the line) /// /// leave this line to enable renewal casting time algorithms /// cast time is decreased by DEX * 2 + INT while 20% of the cast time is not reduced by stats. /// example: /// on a skill whos cast time is 10s, only 8s may be reduced. the other 2s are part of a /// "fixed cast time" which can only be reduced by specialist items and skills #define RENEWAL_CAST Renewal casting is a lot different than Pre-Renewal.

  16. Search for the part that says, "FailedRefItem .@part;" and commet that out. I suggest you change the line: mes "Your equipment broke during the refining process. I had told you earlier this might happen!";. Also various places refer to it destroying the item also, might want to change them also. Peopleperson49

  17. When you use a script that uses the menu or switch function, is there a way to get rid of the cancel button from appearing in the dialog box options? I see a lot of scripts that have options that are scripted to say something like: Yes, No, and Nevermind. Sometimes Nevermind could actually be used to give an item back if you choose not to carry out the rest of the script. For example, a useable item that buffs you. Once you click it it disappears and starts a script that gives you have the option to use it or not. If you choose not to then you get the item back and the script ends. However, if the player clicks the cancel button in the corner instead of going to Nevermind the scripts just ends and they don't get the item back at all. There might even be a command that doesn't put the cancel button. Peopleperson49

  20. Please don't waste forum space with bumps. Anyways, I was already looking to find a solution to this, but you should try posting this in source support. It seems like common sense to me, but your not going to write a script to to adjust that. You either going to have to modify source files or a conf somewhere. That really isn't my area or I would help more. I know that it relates to a players crit (and possible would affect monster crit also), but try looking through src/map/pc.c or any of those files there until somebody responds that can help you.
