Night Mode.

Hey guys,

 

I was wondering if there was a way to make a custom map go from day and night while on the server?  If so how?

 

Also this map has a main light that gives it a 'sunny' effect, so its a colored light.  Is this going to prevent from the night mode to happen if its able to?

 

Or do the maps have to be permanently day or perma night because they are custom?

 

Someone I know needs this information and I unfortunately am not familiar with maps switching ingame, since I usually just make my maps night or day lighting.

So you just want night mode enabled in your custom map? You have to add your custom map in to npc/mapflag/night.txt

and you can check how the night mode looks in the map by typing the @day/night commands in-game.

Yeah I did that and it doesnt work.

Not even on a custom prontera, which isnt even custom, I just saved it and named it something different, added it to my server addedit to the npc thing you're talking about and nothing, still.
